2. Principle
Risky Business is an app for managing risks and projects. All data you enter is stored exclusively locally on your device. There is no provider server, and no personal data whatsoever is transmitted to the developer or to any third party.
3. What Data Is Processed
Within the app, you yourself process and store the following data in a local database file:
User accounts: user name and your password (the latter is stored solely as a cryptographic hash, never in plain text).
Content data: the risks, projects, assessments, comments and the associated change history that you create.
This data remains under your sole control.
4. No Data Collection by the Provider
The app contains no analytics, tracking or advertising functions. No usage data, device identifiers or location data are collected, and no communication with the provider's servers takes place.
5. Storage Location and Optional Synchronization
By default, the database file is stored locally on your device. You may voluntarily place it in a location of your choice – for example on a network drive or in a cloud folder (iCloud Drive, OneDrive, Dropbox, etc.) – in order to share it between your devices. In that case the data is stored and synchronized by the service you have chosen; the privacy policy of that respective provider then additionally applies. The developer of Risky Business has no access to this data.
6. Export Feature
Exports you create (PDF, PowerPoint) are generated locally on your device and are only shared if you initiate this yourself via your operating system's share function.
7. Your Rights
Since the provider does not collect or store any personal data from you, it cannot provide information about, correct or delete such data. You can edit all data stored in the app yourself at any time within the app, or remove it entirely by deleting the database file. Independently of this, under the GDPR you have the rights to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability.
8. Children
The app is not specifically directed at children and does not collect any data from children.
9. Changes to This Privacy Policy
This privacy policy may be amended in order to adapt it to changed app features or to legal requirements. The current version is always available at this address.
