Version 2.5 New
September 2026
- Shared database via iCloud (Beta): optionally switch a database to iCloud – it syncs across your devices, and with a share link several iCloud users collaborate on the same database. The local-file mode stays unchanged; switchable per database.
- Comprehensive accessibility: VoiceOver reads register rows as a whole and offers direct actions, charts have an audio graph, the matrix is labeled; Dynamic Type, symbols for priorities “without color”, and better contrast.
- Tidier exporting: a single “Export” menu per view – including the management report, the audit log and Excel as grouped submenus.
- Portfolio “No project”: tapping the “No project” tile scopes the register to just the risks without a project — this filter is also available directly in the project picker.
- Clearer database-switch hint: switching to another or an iCloud-shared database signs you out; you then sign in with an account from that database.
Version 2.4
August 2026
- Portfolio report: a cross-project report as a PDF or PowerPoint – with the key metrics and charts (budget and priority per project, status and category distribution, trend curve) plus a per-project table.
- Faster in the register: change status, “mark as reviewed” or duplicate directly via the context menu / swipe gesture – no form needed.
- Bulk edit: set status, owner, project or due date for several selected risks at once.
- Keyboard shortcuts: ⌘F (search), ⌘E (edit) and ⌘D (duplicate) on Mac and iPad; a tidied iPhone toolbar.
- Excel polish: text wrapping in the content columns and an AutoFilter on the register export’s header row.
Version 2.3
August 2026
- Trash: deleted risks land in the trash and can be restored or deleted permanently.
- Native text formatting: a real editor for the description, mitigation plan & more – now also with strikethrough and inline code.
- Company branding for reports: logo, company name and a footer note on every PDF page and PowerPoint slide (with the app icon as a fallback).
- Tailored reports: choose the sections of the management report and set the columns of the register export.
- Modernized for iOS 26 / macOS 26: the new system design and up-to-date technology; from this version on, system 26 is required.
Version 2.2
August 2026
- Risk templates: create a new risk from a catalog of pre-written standard risks – the form opens already pre-filled.
- Review cycle & re-review: a configurable review cycle per risk with a “Next review”, a register filter, a dashboard card and optional review reminders.
- New management report: four pages as a PDF or PowerPoint – summary, risk matrix, Current → Target and the risk timeline.
- Audit log as Excel with filterable and sortable columns; the matrix export additionally gets a “Current → Target” page.
- File names with a date: every export begins with the export date (year-month-day) for easy archiving.
Version 2.1
August 2026
- Text formatting: description, mitigation plan, effectiveness and the project description with bold, italic, bullet lists and line breaks — via a toolbar at the field (also ⌘B / ⌘I on Mac).
- Better readability: formatted detail view with a comfortable line width on iPad and Mac.
- Search matches are now highlighted in the risk register.
- Excel export writes formatted text as clean, readable plain text.

- Portfolio overview: a cross-project dashboard – key figures and risk budget per project, a priority heatmap, and a tap to jump into the filtered risk register.
- Interactive widgets: mark due risks as “reviewed” right from the widget or the Lock Screen – without opening the app.
- Lock Screen widgets with the most important key figures (iPhone, iPad).
- Control Center: a new “New risk” control for quick access.
- More Siri shortcuts: “Open portfolio” and “Open risk matrix”.

- Due-date reminders: local notifications for open risks with a due date, with a configurable lead time.

- Multiple administrators: create further admins or promote/demote users; the primary and last admin are protected.
